    CD_GUIDE
    =========
   
    This application will guide you in using this Aztech Personal Image Library.


    VIEWER.APP
    ===========

    This application will assist you in browsing through the images.


Aldus Fetch:
-----------
On the CD we have placed all the files needed to use Aldus' Fetch catalog. 

All needed files are in the FOR_MAC folder.

This will allow you to start from the CD. We have found some CD 
drivers for the Macintosh may have problems switching CD's. This may cause a 
system lockup, long delays, or many extra disk swaps. 

There are three ways to avoid this problem if you experience it; 

1- Copy the FETCH.APP;1 and  all files with ending in ".FTC;1" files to your hard 
   disk. (Best, recommended for speed as well) The catalogs and Aldus Fetch 
   Browser may use upto 5 MegaBytes of disk space.      

2- Quit the Aldus Fetch application before swapping a CD, and launch the 
   catalog from next disk if necessary. There is a copy of the catalog and 
   support files on each CD in any of the Aztech Personal Image Libraries.

3- Update your CD Software.   


Notes on using Aldus Fetch and VIEWER.APP: 
---------------------------------------
Both Programs use the QUICKTIME(tm) Display Extension to draw the thumbnails 
in the catalog. If this extension it is not already installed or if it is an 
incompatible version, drag the QUIKTIME file from the CD to your 
SYSTEM:EXTENSIONS folder and restart your computer.
